All of these materials will help my students learn through active exploration and play, which is essential for early development. My students require support in the areas of sensory needs, physical, speech and language, among others. These tools will help their classroom become a gateway for success in their everyday life. I have included a variety of items in our project that will support and enrich our program such as science tools for students to learn through exploration. The blocks will help my students develop social and emotional skills like self-confidence and perseverance, by rebuilding a block tower after it falls. The microscopes will help them discover properties of living and nonliving things beyond their imaginations. All the objects in my project will benefit my students in one way or another in the areas of math, language, literacy, social-emotional, science, or physical development.
