Our High School Chorus program has seven choirs that perform a wide variety of music. As such, we often sing music that requires accompaniment from instruments we do not own. Two instruments we are in need of are a cajon and a djembe. Both of these are commonplace in multicultural and jazz music - two genres we are very familiar with! Having our own cajon and djembe would make for far more efficient and effective rehearsals since we would not have to find and coordinate with sources to borrow them from.
