In my classroom, I provide direct instruction in Spanish Reading in whole group instruction and small group setting. Having more Spanish books give my students the opportunity to work on reading fluency and comprehension skills on a meaningful and engaging way. As students become familiar with newly introduced reading skills, the Spanish books are used to reinforce those skills. The Spanish books are a wonderful resource that helps students to improve on reading fluency and comprehension.
I will be using the Spanish books to teach them how to infer, analyze, and draw conclusions. The students will be learning about Tolerance. They will be comparing the characters with their own lives and then sharing with others what did they learn. A student that reads will be an adult that think.
I want to provide my students with opportunities to enhance knowledge, acquire vocabulary, and improve fluency and comprehension.
