This piece of furniture, the shelf on wheels and bins allow flexibility and space in the classroom so that my students have a math center to help with the Daily 3 in math.
Organization helps the students with easier more convenient transitions and time on task.
Any way that I can help teach the students organization and time management of tools and materials is a valuable life skill. These shelves will be filled with clocks, money, measuring tools, geoboards, math facts, pattern boards and games that coordinate with our curriculum. This center will provide them with opportunities to review old skills and reteach new skills.
