These are just a few of the standards related to reading , creating, improvising and performing musical arrangements in a music classroom. Mu:Cr 2:3.1 By having instruments students will be able to perform musical ideas.Mu : Cr 2:4.1 All students will be able to organize music ideas for improvisation and arrangement. Mu:Pr 4:2.5 All students will be able to Read and perform rhythm and melodic arrangements.
When every student has access to an instrument learning will be advanced and classroom time will be maximized. Having access to instruments will also help increase student engagement which will help increase motivation as well . Children want to play instruments when they come to music. These instruments will be used to read and play notation of arrangements created by others as well as their own creations. They will all be able to improvise and perform these arrangements to themselves, parents, and our school community.
