Welcome to my classroom! I have been teaching 3rd grade for 10 years and not only do I love being a teacher, I love having the privilege of working with these 3rd grade precious, funny, inspiring, inquisitive, intelligent, unique human beings! Every day I teach guided reading at our classroom guided reading table. I meet with 5 different groups of 5-6 children each day through literacy rotations. In order to get 6 chairs to fit around the table, I have had to buy or create my own guided reading chairs. Unfortunately, the chairs that I have been able to afford have not lasted more than two years and end up in the garbage as a result of naturally wiggly children's daily wear and tear, or I have to repaint or reapply hot glue to cushion buckets each year. I have turned to donorschoose.org to ask for help to purchase quality, lasting, "wiggle" stools for my students to use while receiving reading instruction. Thank you!!
