Students will thrive when their space is organized and inviting. To give students their personal space and a sense of self within the classroom, this storage will serve as their personal "mail box" (and who doesn't love getting mail?).
Students will be able to keep their work, homework, and any communications sent home in a predictable and ready space. Students will learn not only organization skills, but also independence as they will use the mail box to take and return work/items between home and school. Having a space that is personal will give each child a sense of self and responsibility within the classroom, all while bridging home to school communications.
