These materials will provide 15 students with 100 blank pages to fill with their thoughts and ideas through art.
Students will express themselves through drawing. Each student will receive their own personal sketchbook and pencil set to keep for themselves. The goal is to provide students with a safe place to create something unique to themselves while also learning a new skill.
Every week students will come to learn and practice a new drawing skill. In addition, students will be sharing with one another the drawings they have created and give each other feedback.
The idea is to use drawing to create a safe school community for students to express themselves while also giving them new skills to learn.
