My gifted students are innovators! They are inquisitive and witty. They enjoy thinking creatively and they learn quickly. They are abstract thinkers and problem solvers. They often have advanced comprehension skills and a large vocabulary. They enjoy reading and thirst for knowledge. On the other hand, they develop asynchronously and have unique social and emotional needs. They are often misunderstood by their same-aged peers and need strategies and tools for dealing with the ebb and flow of life.
