Access to technology isn’t something that is commonly found in the community and homes of my students. My classroom will be able to provide a number of opportunities with the help of these iPads. First, my students will be able to evaluate their academic progress and develop research skills. These research skills are meant to explore resources to build their fundamentals math abilities. Secondly, my students will be able to develop their communication by using Google Classroom to access their academic data, class announcements, class materials, and to connect with their classmates. Additionally, the iPad will be able to drop our carbon footprint by reducing the amount of paper usage in the classroom. Lastly, students will be able to use the iPads to research current events and tie connections through a mathematical lens.
