We begin each music class gathered together to create a warm, welcoming environment. The floor in our classroom was replaced over the summer by the county and the carpet we had previously is now all tile. When the students enter, they sit together on the floor, and many are distracted by the cold floor. They try to lay out their jackets to sit on in order to find comfort.
By donating to this project, you can help increase student focus, and provide additional music-themed lessons! Having a carpet in our classroom will provide a space for us to gather comfortable and enjoy all that music has to offer. The addition of a music themed carpet will provide engaging lessons for students in all grades.
