My students spend a significant amount of time in the classroom each day and the materials bought with this project will allow me to make their space more comfortable and inviting. A new carpet, alternative seating and lamps will create a relaxing reading space to help foster a life-long love of reading for my students. I am requesting headphones to allow English Language Learners and struggling readers to work on independent read aloud books. These simple classroom additions will greatly enhance learning for all my students. Thank you for taking the time to consider this project and help low- income students in Charlotte, NC.
