Giving students the option of flexible seating will be beneficial for all students, especially in ELA! The materials that I am requesting are all part of a plan for flexible seating that I have been in the process of implementing for a couple of years and I am looking forward to giving my children a chance to learn and grow as they use these new materials. Giving the students the opportunity to get comfortable while reading and working in stations will enhance their learning and allow for more student engagement. Students will not be required to sit at desks in typical classroom chairs. These Balance balls, wobble chairs and this table, give students choices in the classroom and contribute to a more conducive learning environment.
