Welcome to my special needs classroom! I have been teaching special education for 5 years, focusing on the severe and profound population, including students with disabilities in Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and Down Syndrome. I relocated to a new state 5 years ago to start my teaching career and have always worked in high poverty and challenge schools. I love to incorporate music, technology, and hands-on activities into my lessons to make school as engaging as possible for my teenage learners.
