In my school, we are encouraging more technology-based learning for students to be prepared for the age of technology. The items I am requesting will allow students to work independently, regardless of their level of learning, to research an assignment, take a test, or to complete daily assignments.
I believe this will given students more confidence and build on the knowledge they possess with regard to using computers and other resources. This would also cut down on distractions from other students that possibly hinder learning for our lower level learners. Students can also message me to ask questions without being embarrassed by other students knowing an area they may be struggling.
With these headphones in place, I can walk around the room, without interrupting students at work, to check their progress. With some online learning, like Google Classroom, students can submit their assignments and never have to leave their seats.
