Being located in a area that is a little rough around the edges, it has shown me that it still produces sweet, kind, willing to learn children! Just because of their circumstances, doesn't mean that these kids aren't willing to come to school and be taught whatever they can soak in. Most of them have never touched an iPad, or have been able to be surrounded by nice things. In my classroom, I try and make it as comfy and welcoming as possible. They sometimes don't get that at home, so I try and give them all I can at school. Giving a child a chance to learn, with no setbacks or obstacles, is how we should always approach teaching. Every child deserves a chance to see bigger and better things, and to have those things accessible at their fingertips.Giving students the abilities to learn with technology will benefit them more than we can understand. If we can allow them to use technology now, and understand it. Then we are paving their way to a better future, with greater chance for a better career. That is my goal as their teacher, to set them up for a successful future where they can feel confident in anything they do and achieve.
