The students enjoy technology, however my classroom has very little for them to explore with. For my project, I am asking for assistance in getting a projector for our classroom, so that the students can learn from videos, music, poems, games and etc. With a projector in my classroom, the students will be able to see assignments on the board with paperless handouts, display maps, graphs, charts, and information from the textbooks. By having a wireless mouse and keyboard, I will be able to walk around the room while I am using the projector to interact with my students and not be sitting at my computer. My students have a lot of trouble spelling words and finding words in a word journal. With an Echo dot, my students will be able to ask Alexa how to spell words and ask her questions that they may not know or need assistance finding. Finally, I am asking for fidget bands and fidget materials. My students will have bands on their chairs , so that they can bounce their feet instead of tapping the floor and distracting the other students. The finger fidgets will be used to provide my students with something quiet to do in the classroom with their hand that will not distract the other students, because of right now several of them like to tap their pencils on the desk. The student enjoy learning in different way, not just our textbooks. Please help me create a more friendly learning environment, by supporting my project. My student enjoy having more interaction for a lesson, not just workbooks. By supporting my project we can get the projector and supplies that are needed for have a more interesting classroom for these children.
