Students want to learn to lift weights and exercise appropriately but have been unable to do so without the proper equipment. We are in the process of creating a fitness center to untilize as a classroom during the school day and as an extracurricular center after school. This equipment will not only allow the students to exercise daily, but also engage in correct form and technique. Students will understand the why in addition to the how associated with lifting weights. This knowledge will enable students to become teachers and engage them in a way that may lead to careers in personal training.
