By having these supplies, my students will have access to more books, both fiction and nonfiction, to support literacy. I want to expose them to as many genres as possible, and these books are all great examples of culturally relevant and culturally competent literature that I want to expose my students to! Not only will we focus on understanding various pieces of literature, but we will focus on mathematical literacy as well. I know that my students have the power to learn and grow, and they just need the resources to do so! Thank you all for taking the time to read about my project! I hope that even if you do not donate this time or to one of my projects that you take the time to support your local public schools and students.

About my class
