I am a second grade teacher who has the honor of teaching incredibly compassionate, energetic and resilient second graders! My class is predominately African American and Pacific Islander. Our school is a Title I school and many students have experienced some sort of trauma. I strive to create a safe and loving classroom environment where students can critically engage with the world and grow as learners.
