The headphones purchased will be used by the students in the listening to reading station during daily five time and the iPad station during math rotations. This will allow all students the opportunity to listen to books on tape and practice their math fact fluency. Without headphones, students often have to guess what the app is saying or listen to the ipad aloud, which can be distracting to other students working on independent, quiet work.
The printer will allow me to print books in color for student book bags and also for last minute lesson activities I find to cater to the immediate needs of various learning styles. The student bookbags contain books for students on their current reading level, and I don’t have enough books in my personal library to meet everyone’s reading needs. With the printer, I can print Reading A-Z books for students on their various reading levels. These levels vary from early readers to advanced readers and can be easily replaced if lost or torn. The books will be reused by different students and if taken care of well
