I am looking to install Bouncy Bands on each of the chairs in my room. These bands are places on the front two legs of the chairs. Students can rest their feet on them or bounce their feet up and down. Having these Bouncy Bands attached to the chairs will help keep students engaged during learning. Often times students get bored of sitting in one spot all day. They get restless and often leads to misbehavior. Bouncy Bands will allow high energy workers to fidget without distracting others and the learning going on around them. Bouncy Bands can soothe anxiety, frustration and hyper activity. Bouncy Bands are also known to increase the time a student spends working on task.
Students love to wiggle, so why not let that happen as long as the wiggles are not disrupting their learning? Keeping the students engaged, on task and enjoying learning is the key to academic success! We are doing these children a disservice by expecting them to stay seated for 6 hours a day and expecting them not to get restless. Bouncy Bands can help keep learning fun and interactive!
