This materials will allow my students to find resources effectively, allow them to expand their assistance in math, and give them a comfortable place to relax while they are completing their work. The different resources that are asked, will allow the students to have the least restrictive environment for their learning. this will help with differentiated seating and give them the resources needed to guide their learning more effectively.
My room is different from the general education classroom. This room needs to feel like a welcoming place where students won't get judged, instead they are all on the same page and need the help as much as they can receive.
Differentiating seating allows for my students to become more comfortable while doing their work. Calculators are helpful in my classroom setting, because the majority of my student's have accommodations that allow them to use calculators. Without a full classroom set, they are typically using their phones (which I'm not a fan of), or they have to share. Using the file folders, I am going to have a variety of books and entertainment to assist them while doing class work. This will also help with assignments and other activities that happen during IMPACT. Currently, I have 15 students in two of my classes, the others I have in collaboration with a general education teacher.
