I have a classroom full of 27 eager 1st graders who look to me for an interactive learning experience. I live in a small community where anytime I go out I will probably see a family I know. I have been teaching for 6 years and I have loved every minute of it. I love that everyday when I come to work I see the smiling faces of the students I am currently teaching, have taught in the past, or will teach the next year. My favorite part is that they still stop by and say hi even if they are in 5th or 6th grade they remember the impact I had on them in 1st grade.
