We follow a reader's workshop model which means that students have about 30 minutes each day for reading. I see students groan when this time is over...if they have a good book! You never know which book will hook a reader for life! Having choice when it comes to what they read is so important for my students. Imagine going to the library and only finding two possible books you can read... how disappointing! These books will enable my students to choose and explore a wide variety of books each time they visit my classroom library. Please help bring exciting stories and grade-appropriate reading level opportunities to all of my students!
