I am the Family Consumer Science Teacher at Emerson North High School. My students are from different backgrounds as well as from different cultures but we can relate through classes such as Marriage & Family Life, Parenting & Child Development and Surviving & Thriving. We are learning about safe cooking practices as well as cooking various recipes. What would help us a lot would be a stand mixer to use for our various items that require items to be blended, mixed or whatever is needed to make the cooking project successful .
