Each year, during the week of Veterans' Day, our student body puts on an assembly in recognition of our local veterans. Students design gifts, and the student council greets and treats (coffee and donuts), and a visual presentation of veterans and their accolades is on display while the kids sing patriotic songs. Students need to learn the meaning and value of Veterans' Day. We need a large presentation screen for our audience to view the presentation. This event is annual, and students gain respect for their local heroes. Having these materials will make a difference to our students in teaching them respect for our country.
