Bringing this new technology into my classroom in the form of laptops will give my students more ways to access the world around them. Many of my students do not have the technology they need at home so to be able to give them these experiences in my classroom is so rewarding.
Being able to reach my students with engaging new lessons or online quizzes and games and even software designed to help struggling students make the gains they need lights a fire within them and encourages them to become the technologically literate students they will need to be as they embark on their journey to middle school, high school and beyond. Becoming independent thinkers, learners, and avid users of technology will not only help my students become one with the world around them but it will also ensure that they are learning the skills necessary to excel in today's technological world, a world that is becoming more and more advanced with each passing minute. Help us keep up with the times and create a classroom of the 21st century and not one out of the stone age anymore!
