Studies have shown that people who play an instrument or sing regularly have more developed brains than any other hobby/profession. The evidence of this can be seen through the difference in music students' test scores vs. other students. The brain of a musician even looks physically different- so much that neurosurgeons can distinguish musicians' brains from a group simply by looking at them.
These instruments will be used/practiced in a group setting, with performances given each semester. Throughout this process, our students will learn about responsibility and work ethic. It demands perfection from them while they rehearse their music, and they practice responsibility by taking good care of their instrument.
