I have a wonderful group of 2nd graders who love learning. They are energetic, friendly, and full of enthusiasm. They made my day today! We were discussing a story that we had read about a little boy who thought school was boring, and one of my students said "I don't think school is boring--I love school!" and then each of my students agreed with him. That was definitely a "Teacher's Payday!" They are excited to be here every day, and I honestly feel the same way--I love being in the classroom with each of these little friends of mine. They are eager to do their best as well as learn new things. They especially love to learn new things in science and math. I'm convinced that there is nothing more rewarding than to be able to see these students experience the thrill of learning something new and to master new skills each and every day.
