My students need supplies that will aid in building beginning executive functioning skills. Our focus is to allow the students to utilize their imaginations to build and create things with varying materials.
Incorporating these activities will aid in the building blocks for problem solving, organization, visual planning, and social skills.
Unfortunately, many low income families do not have the means or time to provide activities for exploring and creating. Therefore, our students are missing key skills needed for planning, organizing, and problem solving as they get older.
Our hope is to provide them the time and supplies to build these skills through play!
