Third graders need to be reading all the time! I believe having a targeted classroom library filled with interesting and exciting books that are aligned with our Reader's and Writer's Workshop curricula will help instill a love of reading in all my students, while promoting maximal growth in their reading and writing skills. Many of my students are below grade level in both reading and writing and do not have access to many books at home, especially books that are at their level. The books in this targeted, full classroom library will give my students the access and resources they need to reach their full balanced literacy potential, while truly enjoying reading in the process!

About my class
