The flexible seating components in this project will be used everyday in my classroom. Flexible seating is part of Personalized Learning where not only do students and teachers work together for the student's highest achievement, but the student begins to take ownership of his/her education. Flexible seating can be the first step on a student's journey towards ownership. What better way for a student to start than by determining how he/she learns best in the classroom environment? I teach all subjects. I have noticed in literacy some students do their best reading and responding on the floor. While in math, those some same students prefer a chair. I would love to able to provide those options for every student, everyday.
