My students need new audio/stereo equipment to help us listen and learn. The audio equipment will allow me to project sound from video and audio clips so students can hear and experience Spanish accents from multiple regions. As the saying goes, practice makes perfect - and this is no truer than in a language classroom. It is essential for students to be immersed in the language to become proficient, and new audio equipment will help create an authentic environment as possible. Furthermore, we video conference with schools from other countries, so having a good quality audio will enhance the cultural exchange for my students. This new speaker system will also help me accommodate the needs of a hearing impaired student; learning a new language is difficult enough, and this student (and all students) deserve to receive the best learning environment possible.
