In order to learn better in classroom environment, students need to move around and use differentiated seating patterns, like using desks for writing and analyzing, utilizing the requested carpet for morning meetings, small groups discussions and projects, finally for reading books to build up stamina for reading and perseverance in given task. I would like for them to have the opportunity to have choices to support their learning process. I am a big proponent of flexible seating to match up students' particular needs with the learning environment. Having opportunity to choose the place for learning, could lead to a more successful school year for the child.
