My students want the opportunity to have more hands-on and creative learning experiences! Many of the students in my class are from low income households. Opportunities for STEM/STEAM are a low priority in their homes when it comes to the necessities they need. This project would allow my students to have a fighting chance to grow interest in STEM to develop adults with a passion for engineering, science, math, and technology! As a teacher, it is my job to ensure that my students can explore different areas of interest in hopes to creating well-rounded citizens! With more jobs requiring STEM related experiences, this would be the kick start to success for many of my students!
