My students will have a much better time creating quality films with another shotgun microphone to add to our camera. Right now, we have very little equipment, and it is being shared amongst a group of up to 35 students at a time. One of the biggest problems they have is getting good sound, especially since they are filming in hallways where echoes and exterior noise can be a problem. Our goal is to make our school the leader in film production for our district. In order to do that, we need better equipment in order to provide our students with experiences that are closer to the types of skills they will need in careers in that field.
