I want to make learning fun and accessible to all my students.
Helping students regulate their sensory needs allows them to focus and learn! Providing hands-on materials is the best way my students can relate to their learning environment. Young children learn by exploring the world around them through touch and feel. Sensory materials directly aid in their exploration. In addition to using sensory materials, I will use visual supports like sand timers for practicing turn-taking and/or for work stations. All of these materials will help my students better understand and relate to their learning environment. Thank-you for considering my project for your donation!
