Many of my students love taking a STEM elective, but fall behind on literacy, especially with many of them no longer taking trips to our school library (which is now used for technology exploration). This project will incorporate reading into my Coding/Robotics classes via an in-class library. As a Title 1 public school, funding for our students is very limited and the funding that we do get is mostly focused on STEM. While this is great, less focus has been placed on the literacy aspect of education that makes STEM happen! I would love to combine the two for an in-class library for my students.
