I want to help my class to be successful in math by giving them a fun way to practice to proficiency!
We will practice math facts in class and all students will know the math facts by heart!
Students will lace around the wrap-up and practice effective math techniques.
It is my dream to see all of my students master these and be successful in fourth grade math.
Students come to fourth grade without math facts memorized, and persevere in adding repeatedly, but they must have these memorized in order to solve problems quickly and proficiently. This is a scaffold for other operations in fourth grade.
