During the COVID-19 pandemic, many students were unable to attend school in person. Now that students are learning in-person many students are confronting anxiety and attention difficulties related to the stress of dealing with the pandemic. By offering flexible seating choices with wobbly chairs students will be able to increase attention and release anxiety by providing a sensory outlet for students in the classroom. Students' academic learning will improve when they are able to feel calm, comfortable, and focused while receiving instruction. This ability to focus will help students regain learning loss related to school interruption during the pandemic.
