An iPad would be incredibly helpful because currently I have been using my personal phone to run parent communication apps, learning tools, assessment and such. There are so many fantastic iPad apps that can be used by me, and most importantly, the students. Differentiated fact fluency can be achieved through individual student use. Teacher uses with an iPad abound. For example- "Plickers" is an amazing iPad app that allows for instant assessment of student learning in an new and exciting way. An iPad would also streamline parent communication through apps like "bloomz." Parent communication is essential to an effective classroom. iPad applications in the classroom are immense and the possibilities are endless!
