By having a larger selection of books and reading levels students can choose books that they can make a connection with. I want to give students the opportunities to connect with characters who share commonalities with them. I have different reading levels in my class. My motivation is to find a book that every child can connect and relate to. Every students motivation is different. By having a larger selection of novels, I hope to be able to reach every student on an individual basis. Students need books. They are a way to escape and take endless journeys they never thought possible.
