I teach kindergarteners in a classroom in Maine. The student population in our school is very diverse; my classroom has special education students, students for whom English is their second language, and approximately 80% of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch. Our school is designed to give students hands on learning experiences that connect their learning to the real world and motivates them to pursue high quality work.
