Students will have direct access to this printer in order to publish typed essays, responses to literature, and short informational and opinion pieces that will become part of a class news letter. Many of these students are English Learners. We currently have an hp904c printer for use in our classroom that is ages old and has no wi-fi access. Students must directly connect each laptop, through USB, to print. It becomes an issue when we have a class of 30 students attempting to print at the same time. It also creates an necessary distraction as students stand in line to wait their turn to print. This new printer would save us much time.
