I am a new teacher in my school, and the carpet that I have does not currently seat all of my students, and sometimes they even have to sit on the tile due to the lack of space. We spend A LOT of time in Kindergarten learning and collaborating together at the carpet, and I want my students to be able to sit comfortably and have a little space in between them. The carpet is the home base of our classroom. It is where we have social-emotional, English Language Arts, and math whole-group lessons. It is also where my students work together as partners, and learn essential skills for collaboration. I appreciate any and all help in making this carpet dream a reality for my little learners!
