I have 16 students currently, the district that I am employed within is very poverty stricken, many students are being raised by either a single parent or elderly grandparents. The students come to school to attempting to learn, at times hungry, dirty, and at times from a home without electricity. . The campus that I am on has very limited, and outdated resources and manipulatives that are needed to complete assignments. As a teacher within this district last three years I have attempted to provide all of the supplies that were needed by the students whom did not bring any of basic supplies needed for daily school lessons. The furniture that is in my room is very outdated, chairs are broken, cracked, rusted and very low to the ground.
