The Educational Theatre Foundation (ETF) and its parent organization, The Educational Theatre Association (EdTA), believe that every child in America deserves access to theatre in their school because theatre can directly and positively impact a student’s academic performance and career readiness. Our school produces three major performances a year that include a Christmas Time Polar Express Extravaganza, a celebration of Black History Month, and a Cinco de Mayo celebration.
While we are trying our best to produce high-quality theater, it is extremely difficult to make smooth transitions between character dialogue with only one microphone. The addition of two more wireless microphones will help the actors transition smoothly between dialogue moments. The students will be able to concentrate more on the way their line is delivered instead of where the microphone is located.
