My first graders are curious, enthusiastic, energetic, and they LOVE to have fun!!! I refer to this First Grade year as "The Magical Year" because there is SO MUCH INCREDIBLE GROWTH that happens during these 9 months: socially, emotionally, and of course, academically!!! I am passionate about finding exciting and new ways to engage and inspire my diverse learners, particularly in reading, writing, and math. I recognize the uniqueness in all of my students and my goal is to guide their learning and help them to grow by disguising learning with FUN!!! In our room, we are a family of learners. Every student has the opportunity to learn and grow, at his/her own pace, in our supportive, encouraging classroom community.
