I have also seen students struggle with typical age-appropriate manipulative skills of throwing, passing, catching, and dribbling items with their hands. During this same time, I have seen students struggle with manipulative skills of passing, receiving, dribbling with their feet. Lastly, in regards to manipulative skills, students have received minimum experience with striking in combination with locomotor movement. I would like to be able to give my students more of a chance to be able to work individually on all these manipulative skills during the physical education time as well as opportunities during their recess time. This means increasing the amount of equipment I currently have for these skills. Ultimately, more equipment will mean students will have more one-on-one time, or individuals to increase their skills.
